Bill Pullman joins Torchwood
Hollywood actor Bill Pullman has been cast in Torchwood: The New World.
Hollywood actor Bill Pullman has been cast in the fourth series of Torchwood which begins filming in America in the New Year. Torchwood: The New World is a co-production between the BBC and the American broadcaster Starz and Pullman is the latest actor announced for the series. According to Deadline Hollywood Bill Pullman will play psychotic Oswald Jones; a convicted murderer and paedophile. His casting in Torchwood comes shortly after it was revealed that ER and Lie to Me actor Mekhi Phifer had been cast as CIA agent Rex in Torchwood: The New World.
Bill Pullman is probably best known for his role as President Thomas Whitmore in the 1996 blockbuster Independence Day. His other film credits include The Grudge, Scary Movie Four and Casper.
