Rula Lenska to become landlady of The Rovers Return

According to reports actress Rula Lenska is set to return to Coronation Street as her character Claudia Colby becomes the new landlady of The Rovers Return.

 

Tabloid reports claim that actress Rula Lenska is set to return to Coronation Street next year as her character becomes the landlady of The Rovers. Lenska has already made several appearances in the Granada soap over the course of this year as Claudia Colby and the actress has already signed up to return to Corrie. The Mirror claims that producers are set to make Claudia the new landlady of The Rovers when Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) decides to leave Weatherfield next month.

If Lenska’s character of Claudia does become the new landlady of The Rovers she’ll be following in the footsteps of Bet Lynch (Julie Goodyear), Annie Walker (Doris Speed) and Vera Duckworth (Liz Dawn) – all famous former landladies of The Rovers Return.
