Adam Astill joins Holby City

Mistresses actor Adam Astill is to join the cast of BBC One’s medical drama Holby City as a new consultant.

 

Adam Astill is to join the cast of BBC One’s medical drama Holby City. The actor will play new consultant Dan Hamilton and will make his on-screen arrival next month. Astill’s character will be a ‘ladies man’ according to The Sun. The actor’s casting in Holby City follows the recent addition of Guy Henry and Jimmy Akingbola while actress Laila Rouass has also been confirmed as joining the cast – she’ll make her on-screen appearance in February.

 

Adam Astill played Simon Bennett in all three seasons of BBC One drama Mistresses which ended last year. His other roles include appearances in Secret Diary of a Call Girl, The Bill, Doctors, Harley Street, Hotel Babylon, Silent Witness and small roles in EastEnders, Hollyoaks and a 2008 episode of Casualty.
