Coronation Street army diaries to be shown on ITV 2

The army diaries of Gary Windass are to be shown on ITV 2, Coronation Street has announced today.

The three part series originally aired online last year which showed Gary and his mate Quinny as they served in Afghanistan. On the street, Gary has been struggling to cope with the death of his friend in combat.

Corrie Extra: Gary’s Army Diaries will be shown on Monday 31 January at 10pm and 1am and on Sunday 6 February at 8.30am and 2.15pm on ITV2.
