Luke PasqualinoFormer Skins actor Luke Pasqualino as been cast as the young William Adama in Syfy’s forthcoming Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome. Pasqualino played heart-throb Freddie in the third and fourth series of the British version of Skins. His character was brutally murdered in the fourth season prompting an outcry from fans. The actor has also appeared in Casualty and Miranda but Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome represents his first major role since leaving Skins. He will play the young William Adama who was played by Edward James Olmos in Battlestar Galactica and Marcus Towfigh in Caprica.

Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome is set during the first Cylon war – several years into the conflict between the Colonials and their robotic creations. Chronically speaking Blood and Chrome takes place in the gap between Caprica and Battlestar Galactica. Syfy ordered a two-hour movie for Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome following its decision to cancel Caprica because of low ratings. Starring alongside Luke Pasqualino in Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome will be Ben Cotton.
