Actress Jordana Brewster has joined the cast of TNT’s Dallas reboot. According to TVLine the actress has won a high profile role on the planned revival of the iconic 1980s super-soap. Brewster will play Elena, the daughter of the ranch cook who is involved in a love triangle between cousins Christopher and John Ewing.
The pilot focuses on the “next generation” of the Ewing family; Christopher who is the son of Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy) and Pam Ewing (Victoria Principle) and cousin John Ross Ewing son of JR (Larry Hagman) and Sue Ellen (Linda Gray). The two Ewings clash over the future of Ewing Oil and will likely be locked in a bitter feud as so often their two fathers were.
