New opening titles for The Bold and the Beautiful

CBS daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful has introduced a new set of opening titles and updated version of its theme tune.

CBS daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful has introduced a new set of opening titles and updated version of its theme tune. The brand new opening titles comes just after the soap celebrated its 6000th episode and represents just the third time in its history that is has changed its opening titles.

From The Bold and the Beautiful launch in 1987 through to 2004 the opening titles remained the same with still images of the cast presented on-screen in the style of a photography shoot. In 2004 the soap introduced a live action title sequences with the cast appearing on-screen and also credited. A new version of the theme tune was also introduced and several variations of these episodes – long and short – have been used since then.

Now though the soap has completely updated its opening titles introducing a brand new look utilising state of the art technology to present a fashion show with all the main characters in attendance. As before the characters and actors are credited on-screen but this time within the context of the fashion shoot. A new version of the theme tune – which may take some fans time to get used to – has also been introduced.

The brand new titles were introduced on today’s (February 21st) edition of The Bold and the Beautiful.
