ITV orders more Sunday Night Show
ITV has ordered a second series of the Adrian Chiles fronted series That Sunday Night Show following strong ratings for its first outing.
ITV1 has commissioned a second series of That Sunday Night Show after the first run of the show debuted to strong viewing figures. The audience for the first series, hosted by Adrian Chiles, grew throughout to an average of 3.7 million, 17 percent share of viewing, for last week’s programme.
That Sunday Night Show is a topical and entertaining round up of the biggest news stories from the past week. The half hour programme sees Adrian joined by a panel of celebrity guests which in this first series – which ends this Sunday – have included Alistair Campbell, Frank Skinner, Bob Geldof, Lord Alan Sugar, Catherine Tate, Rebecca Front and Michael Palin.
“That Sunday Night Show has established itself very quickly as a popular part of the ITV weekend entertainment line-up. It’s a very watchable, and very funny, reflection on the week, with an often eclectic guest list.” – Elaine Bedell, Director of ITV Entertainment and Comedy
That Sunday Night Show is an Avalon Production for ITV1. It was commissioned by ITV Director of Entertainment and Comedy Elaine Bedell and the Executive Producers are Jon Thoday and Richard Allen Turner for Avalon.
