NBC has announced the return date for Law & Order: Los Angeles after it went on hiatus to allow a creative revamp on the struggling spin-off. Law & Order: Los Angeles hadn’t exactly been struggling in the ratings dangerously but it was under performing and it was decided the latest Law & Order spin-off needed a shake-up.
So the series was taken off-air while bosses revamped the drama which has resulted in a few cast changes. Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall and Megan Boone have all been written out of the series. Meanwhile Terrence Howard has been bumped up the regular cast while Alana la Garza has been brought on board from the now cancelled Law & Order parent series to round out the cast. There’s also a planned crossover with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in May to boost the shows profile. Law and Order: Los Angeles will return to NBC on Monday 11th April with a two-hour episode at 9pm but from the following week will air at 10pm on Mondays.
