BBC to screen controversial JFK mini-series

The BBC has announced that they will screen the controversial mini-series about the family of assassinated President John Kennedy.

The series has been rejected by a number of American broadcasters after it was claimed that the show was not accurate in the history of the Kennedys. History UK is to air the eight part mini-series in April, with BBC Two showing it in either May or June.

A small cable channel in the US, Reelz Channel will air the series next month. The show is expected to draw complaints when it airs. BBC Two controller Janice Hadlow said “It has a very particular flavour and we are delighted to have this new addition to our schedules.”
