Charlene Tilton and Steve Kanaly to return to Dallas
TNT’s reboot of Dallas has added two more original stars to its line up as Charlene Tilton and Steve Kanaly both sign up to reprise their respective roles.
Dallas fans will be delighted by the news that two more original cast members will be joining the revived oil drama. Charlene Tilton will reprise her role of Lucy Ewing – memorably dubbed the poison dwarf by Terry Wogan in the UK – while Steve Kanaly will reprise his role of Ray Krebbs.
During the course of Dallas‘ ranch hand Ray was discovered to be an illegitimate child of Jock Ewing (Jim Davis). Kanaly appeared in Dallas from its launch in 1978 until 1988 but returned for the 1998 TV Movie War of the Ewings. Charlene Tilton played the troublesome Lucy Ewing from 1978 until 1985 and then again between 1988 and 1990. Lucy’s parents Valene (Joan Van Ark) and Gary (Ted Shackleford) were given their own spin-off series, Knots Landing.
Charlene Tilton and Steve Kanaly join fellow original cast members Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy in the new Dallas.
