Thorsten Kaye returning to All My Children

Fan favourite Thorsten Kaye will return to ABC’s cancelled soap All My Children for its final months to reprise his role of Zach Slater.

The actor exited the ABC soap only last year when  his character was seemingly killed off in a plane crash. Thorsten had been part of the All My Children cast for six years but his exit was a result of the shows relocation to Los Angeles from New York. The actor was not able to reach a deal with the producers over the move and was unprepared to full the soap to Los Angeles because of his family commitments in New York.

However, with the news of the soaps cancellation the actor has agreed to return as Zach Slater.  It’s unknown when the actor will make his first on-screen appearance as Zach but some suggest July is likely. It’s also unclear how his character will be reintroduced; whether producers will reveal Zach survived the plane crash or use some other shock twist to bring the character back to Pine Valley.
