Fox axes five shows
American broadcaster Fox has cancelled five shows in an axing spree with Human Target and Lie to Me amongst the casualties. However, it has also handed a new season order to House as well as several new projects.
Fox has cancelled Human Target, Lie to Me, Breaking In, Traffic Light and The Chicago Code. All five shows were on the “bubble” meaning their futures could have gone even way depending on various factors. While Fox has canned these shows it has ordered seasons of new shows such as a Bones spin-off (which has been floating around for a while) and J.J Abram’s Alcatraz. Fox has also renewed medical drama House for an eighth season which some believe will be its last.
