More Emmerdale Farm to be released on DVD
A third volume of episodes of Emmerdale Farm is to be released on DVD.
The third volume, released once more by Network DVD, will contain 32 episodes from 1973 – the second year that Emmerdale Farm was on air. The Yorkshire soap launched in 1972 as a daytime drama revolving around the farming Sugden family and the residents of the nearby village of Beckindale (renamed Emmerdale in 1994 following the plane crash). The new 32 episodes to be released on DVD contain the death of Peggy Skillbeck and the conflict between Matt Skilbeck and Jack Sugden.
The third volume of Emmerdale Farm will be released on May 30th by Network DVD. The same company has released DVDs of fellow ITV soaps such as Emergency Ward 10, Crossroads and Coronation Street as well as soapy dramas The Bill, Peak Practice and London’s Burning.
