Case Sensitive, a two-part drama starring Olivia Williams and Darren Boyd, also performed well for ITV1. It managed to beat competition on BBC One in the form of Exile. Overnight ratings for Case Sensitive’s first episode revealed 5.1 million viewers compared to 4.1 million for Exile which starred John Simm. While the second part of Case Sensitive saw figures drop to 4.7 million viewers they still remained stronger than those for Exile.
