BBC Three orders second series of White Van Man

BBC Three had ordered a second series of the comedy White Van Man.

BBC Three controller Zai Bennett has renewed the comedy and its re-commissioning was announced today was a raft of other commissions for the channel. A new six part series has been commissioned with filming due to begin later this year. Actor Will Mellor (Casualty, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps) will return as Ollie and writer Adrian Poynton will once again pen the episodes.

The first series of White Van Man aired on BBC Three in March and April and according to the BBC each episode has been seen by over 2 million viewers. Also part of the cast were Naomi Bentley, Clive Mantle and Georgia Moffett.
