The Talk to air on Diva TV

American chat-show The Talk, which features Sharon Osbourne, will air on Diva TV in the UK.

The daytime series – likened to an American style Loose Women – airs on CBS in America. It replaced the soap-opera As The World Turns which was cancelled by CBS after 54 years on-air. UK digital station Diva TV has acquired the rights to the series. Diva TV has previously broadcast episodes of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Last year the cable channel fell foul of soap fans in the UK when it stopped broadcasting episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful (another CBS soap) despite the fact it was the channel’s top-rated programme.

The Talk will air on Diva TV from Monday 4th July at 7pm. Diva TV is on Virgin Media channel 164 and Sky channel 269.
