Jon Hamm signs new three year deal for Mad Men

Mad MenJon Hamm has signed a new three year deal to keep him on AMC’s critically acclaimed & award-winning drama Mad Men.

Those who were worrying over the future of everyone’s favourite 1960s based drama Mad Men can officially stop now. Not only has AMC finally reached a deal to keep the series on air for a further three seasons but actor Jon Hamm – who plays Don Draper – has also signed a new three-year deal – reports TV Line. The new deal means its highly likely – given Mad Men continues to perform for AMC – that the drama will run until, at least, the end of its seventh season. As well as continuing to play the role of Don the actor will also step behind the camera and direct an episode of its fifth season.

In the UK Mad Men has aired on BBC Four (with repeats on BBC Two) but it will move to Sky Atlantic.
