Amanda Setton returning to One Life to Live

Actress Amanda Setton is returning to daytime soap One Life to Live ahead of its finale.

The actress will reprise her role of Kimberly Andrews this Summer after exciting the role last year. Setton joined the cast of One Life to Live in 2009 but after just a year in the role she decided to leave. The actress was offered a long-term contract with the ABC soap but to try out for new roles. However, now bosses at the soap have managed to temp Setton back to reprise her role before the soap’s big finale in January.

The exact on-air date for Setton hasn’t been revealed but it will be August and it also hasn’t been revealed how long she’ll be back in the for – whether its a short stint or whether she’ll be staying until it bows out in January.

The actress other notable roles include Penelope Shafai in The CW drama Gossip Girl. Setton appeared in the first two seasons as Penelope and returned for the show’s fourth series.
