John Barrowman promises sex and nudity in new Torchwood
John Barrowman has promised Torchwood fans plenty of sex and nudity in the forthcoming new series of the Doctor Who spin-off.
The actor reprises his role of bisexual Captain Jack Harkness for the fourth series of Torchwood and promises fans it will be the sexiest so far – with plenty of sex and “full-on” nudity. Torchwood creator Russell T. Davies has previously reassured fans that the series hasn’t been toned down and they could still expect adult themes.
“I’m naked in one episode – I am full-on naked. I am bumping and grinding in this one. I am having man sex. The true die-hard fans know Jack is omnisexual – he likes men and women. People who tune into this series will just think Jack is gay, because he just has full-on man sex. It was really fun. One day, I get to shoot a helicopter and save the world, and a couple of days later, I get to have sex with a 24-year-old. It’s the most perfect job in the world.” – John Barrowman speaking to Press Association
Torchwood: Miracle Day recently wrapped production in America and is due to air in the UK on BBC One in July though an exact air-date has not yet been revealed. Starring alongside Barrowman will be Eve Myles, Kai Owen, Bill Pullman and Lauren Ambrose.
