Dannii Minogue in talks with This Morning

Australian singer and former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is in talks to join ITV’s daytime magazine programme This Morning.

The Sunday Mirror reports that ITV bosses are hoping to sign up Minogue to host a fashion segment on the programme. The tabloid also claims that Minogue would present the series whenever Holly Willoughby is unable to.

“We have had a conversation with ­Dannii. We really have high hopes it’s going to happen. She’s got a lot of ­presenting ­experience and is considered a style icon, so she’ll be brilliant for a ­fashion segment. Dannii has had no shortage of offers since leaving The X Factor but this really appeals to her as she’s a great fan of the show.” – A “source” quoted in the Sunday Mirror

It was revealed last month that Minogue would not be a judge on the next series of The X Factor. Some reports claimed the singer quit the series while others said he was sacked. Sharon Osbourne, who has a long-standing rivalry with Minogue, recently claimed the Australian was sacked. Minogue also acts a judge on Australia’s Got Talent and is, tipped by some, to be a judge on The Voice which will air on BBC One next year.
