Doctor Who and Bedlam actors for Comic Con

Doctor Who actors Matt Smith & Karen Gillan will be at this year’s Comic-Con as will Bedlam actor Theo James.

BBC America has announced that Smith and Gillan will be part of a panel at Comic Con alongside writer Toby Whithouse (also creator of the UK Being Human) and producers Piers Wenger (who is departing BBC Wales and Doctor Who) and Beth Willis. The Doctor Who panel will be on Sunday 24th July and will be the first Comic-Con appearance for Karen Gillan and Matt Smith. BBC America has also announced Bedlam actor Theo James and creator David Allison will also be at this year’s Comic-Con.

Supernatural drama Bedlam will premier on BBC America in October and stars Will Young, Hugo Speer, Charlotte Salt, Ashley Madekwe and Theo James. The British series originally aired on Sky Living and was the channels first original UK drama commission. Work has begun on a second season though it has not yet been renewed for another series.
