Robin Christopher returning to General Hospital

General Hospital{jcomments on}Actress reprising her role of Skye Quartermanie which she has also played on fellow ABC soaps All My Children and One Life to Live.

Fan and press speculation is that new General Hospital writer Garin Wolf is trying to rebuild the Quatermanie family and make them a central part of the soap again. That position has been strengthened by news that Robin Christopher is to reprise her role of  Skye Quartermanie. The actress made her debut as Skye (then Chandler) on All My Children in 1987. It wasn’t until 2001, when the actress was part of the One Life to Live cast, that the character was revealed to really be a Quartermanie and that led to a seven year stint on General Hospital itself. Robin Christopher quit the soap in 2008 but briefly returned in 2010.

All My Children fans are hoping the actress will reprise her role of Skye Quartermanie on the soap before it goes off-air in September. While a number of returns have been confirmed for the soap before its television finale as yet Robin Christopher is not one of them. It was revealed last week AMC will continue online in the “same format” and “same length” when it ends on ABC in September.
