Channel 5 struggle to recruit celebrities for new Big Brother

The show has switched from Channel 4 to Channel 5 following the former axing the series.

A source tells ATV Today that Channel 5 is struggling to recruit top celebrities for Celebrity Big Brother.

The reality TV show, which was axed by Channel 4, will be revived next month on Channel 5. With just weeks to go until the launch, a source has told ATV Today that the show is in crisis even before it has begun.

“Celebrities just don’t seem interested, and the ones who do are third rate ‘celebrities’ looking to return to spotlight on the back of Big Brother”.

Channel 5 have yet to release any details on the show, with the launch rumoured to be mid to late August. The normal version of Big Brother will follow in September.
