Torchwood Miracle Day ratings drop on Starz

Ratings for the second episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day (Rendition) dropped a fair bit on Friday evening on Starz. It’s pretty standard for premier episodes to perform well while subsequent episodes see drop in ratings – it’s very rare for shows to buck these trends and Torchwood is no different. Combined figures for Friday evening’s second episode reveal that 1.4 million viewers.

However, that figure is likely to rise when additional telecasts and DVR viewing figures are taken into account. If you need proof of that it comes in the form of new figures for the premier episode on Starz which reveal it was seen by 2.7 million viewers.

Torchwood: Miracle Day continues, in the UK, on BBC One on Thursday evening at 9pm.
