Stuart Damon to return to General Hospital
{jcomments on}Reports in America state that Stuart Damon is returning to ABC’s General Hospital to reprise his role of Alan Quartermaine.
Recent cast additions to General Hospital seem to indicate that new head-writer Garin Wolf intends to put the Quartermaine family at the centre of the medical soap once more. The latest evidence that points to this is the announcement that Stuart Damon is returning to the cast as Alan Quartermaine. The question on the lips of General Hospital fans now is will Alan be returning to Port Charles dead or alive?
Damon’s character of Alan Quartermaine was killed off several years ago by producers of the soap. A backlash by fans saw the character revived – sort off. Damon returned to the soap as his character’s “ghost’ for several months. In 2008 he returned once more for an “alternative reality” storyline. So fans are now wondering whether it’ll be a ghost of Alan Quartermaine that’s returning to Port Charles or whether the character will miraculously turn up alive.
The actor has since appeared in Days of our Lives and As The World Turns. Other recent returnees to General Hospital include Leslie Charleson – as Monica Quartermaine – and Robin Christopher as Skye Quartermaine.
