Andrea Evans and John Loprieno to return to One Life to Live

{jcomments on}A fan favourite super-couple are returning to Llanview as actors Andrea Evans and John Loprieno agree to reprise their roles.

The actors have agreed to return as couple Cord Roberts and Tina Lord and will be back on-screen from early September. The two last appeared on-screen together back in 2008 as part of the ABC soap’s 40th anniversary celebrations. Loprieno first joined the cast of One Life to Live in 1986 and remained until 1991 but returned in 1993 before exiting again in 1997. However, the actor returned for short stints in 2004 and later in 2007. Evans first joined the cast in 1978 but bowed out in 1981 before returning in 1985 and leaving again in 1990 – the cast has been recast a number of times during Evan’s time away from the soap.

“Working with John is and always has been a pleasure. Our characters of Tina and Cord have always had an easy chemistry, and I am delighted that we will be able to bring them both to Llanview once again!” – Andrea Evans in a statement.

Andrea Evans return to One Life to Live won’t affect her work on The Bold and the Beautiful where she currently on recurring basis as Tawny Moore. A rep for the CBS soap told Soaps in Depth they were “thrilled” that Evans was returning to One Life to Live but would continue to appear on B&B as well.
