James Franco returning to General Hospital
James Franco is once again returning to ABC’s medical soap General Hospital.
The actor has appeared several times over the past two years on the daytime soap as reclusive artist “Franco”. The actor first appeared in late 2009 and has returned to the soap on several occasions juggling his stints with his successful Hollywood career. Since debuting in 2009 the actor has appeared in over 40 episodes. According to media reports Franco will return to General Hospital in September – reports suggest it’ll be an “extended” stint this time around.
The actor will be seen on the big-screen, before his GH return, in the forthcoming film Rise of the Planet of the Apes – the latest entry in the film franchise. The film is another reboot of the series following the unsuccessful Planet of the Apes reboot, by Tim Burton, in 2001.
