Syfy denies Alphas axe

{jcomments on}Syfy has denied rumours it has cancelled its new drama series Alphas.

The new drama stars Ryan Cartwright and revolves around people with superhuman powers. The series has so far rated well with Syfy with over 2 million viewers but despite its good performance there has been rumours of the shows cancellation. However, Syfy has now denied this was the case and has reassured fans that filming on the series is still taking place. TVLine recently reported that actress Lindsay Wagner will be appearing in a forthcoming episode as Dr Vanessa Calder crossing over from fellow Syfy series Warehouse 13.
