The Munsters remake back on

The Munsters{jcomments on}Bryan Fuller’s proposed remake of The Munsters is apparently back on the cards according to reports.

It was first reported last September that Fuller, creator of Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies, was developing a remake of the classic 1960s sitcom The Munsters for NBC. However, just under a year later and there’s been very little in the way of news regarding the project – until this week.

According to reports NBC eventually decided to pass on the project but now the broadcaster is seemingly interested again with NBC Entertainment chairman  Bob Greenblatt putting the remake back on the table – Fuller is now working on reviving the sitcom once more. The Munsters originally ran on CBS for two seasons between 1964 and 1966 producing 70 episodes.
