Jacob Young returning to The Bold and the Beautiful

{jcomments on}Jacob Young is returning to CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful.

The actor currently plays JR Chandler on ABC soap All My Children and has been part of the cast since 2003. However, the actor will not remain on AMC when it leaves television in September and re-launches as an online soap. The actor will, instead, return to The Bold and the Beautiful to reprise the role of Rick Forrester, according to TV Guide Magazine.

Young played the role of troublesome Rick between 1997 and 1999. Following his exit from the show the role was recast with Justin Torkildsen in the role until 2006. In 2007 the role was recast again with actor Kyle Lowder taking over Rick; Lowder himself bowed out of the soap earlier this year. Young will make his first re-appearance as Rick Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful at the end of September just days after All My Children ends its television run.
