Erin Chambers to leave General Hospital

{jcomments on}Erin Chambers is to set the ABC medical soap General Hospital after a year.

Chambers joined the cast of the daytime soap in September 2010 as Siobhan McKenna originally on a recurring basis before being bumped to the regular cast in January. However, several months later and a change in head-writer at General Hospital and the character is being written out. The soap is shifting its focus back onto the core families as new head-writer Garin Wolf makes his mark. The actress will bow out as Siobhan  next week and the character will not be recast.
