Kate Thornton not bitter about Loose Women axe

Kate Thornton isn’t bitter of her axe from ITV’s daytime panel show Loose Women.

It was announced in July that Thornton and Zoe Tyler were being dropped from Loose Women in a shake-up of the topical panel show, the axings came amidst reports of declining ratings. Zoe Tyler described her axing from Loose Women as “sudden”. Now Kate Thornton has spoken about her exit.

Loose Women returns to ITV1 after a Summer break on September 5th with new panellists Carol Vorderman and former Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay.

Sally Lindsay’s new Sky One drama Mount Pleasant launches tonight (Wednesday) at 9pm and also stars Daniel Ryan, Pauline Collins, Angela Griffin, Liza Tarbuck and Bobby Ball.
