Michael Steger predicts 90210 will run for five years
90210 actor Michael Steger has predicted The CW teen-drama will only run for five seasons.
The actor plays Navid Shiranzi in The CW revival of the classic 1990s series Beverley Hills 90210. The drama kicks off its fourth season in September but actor Steger has predicted it will come to a close after its fifth season.
“I keep saying five years. But you know, that always changes. The CW likes to hold on to its shows. I realise this is going to be a great platform to get other jobs… when the show’s over. Because let’s face it, it’s going to end soon, or one of these days.” – Michael Steger speaking to The TV Addict.
Fellow CW teen-drama One Tree Hill begins its ninth and final season later this year and other veteran CW shows include Supernatural. Smallville ended its 10 year run earlier this year on The CW. The original Beverley Hills 90210 ran for 10 seasons between 1990 and 2000 on Fox.
