Leven Rambin not returning to All My Children
Actress Leven Rambin will not be returning to ABC soap All My Children, ahead of its television finale in September, because of scheduling conflicts.
The actress appeared on the ABC daytime soap as Ava Benton and Lily Montogomery, look-a-like half sisters. Rambin was one of a string of former stars signed up to return to the soap following its cancellation – to ensure AMC goes out in style. However, her return will now not happen because of scheduling conflicts. The actress’ role in Hunger Games means she will be unable to return.
“Unfortunately, there was a scheduling conflict with The Hunger Games, which is filming in North Carolina. Sad, sad, sad! But I’m pleased that I was able to take part in the 40th anniversary show last year.” – Rambin quoted by Soap Opera Digest
Filming on All My Children is understood to he wrapped up yesterday with the finale airing on September 23rd. It will then – at an unspecified point – re-launch online. At the moment it seems most likely the soap will return next year, after the television finale of One Life to Live, but which cast members will remain is unknown.
