Susan Lucci’s memoir to be released in paperback
{jcomments on}All My Children icon Susan Lucci is releasing a paperback edition of her memoir, All My Life, which will include an extra chapter about the cancellation of the daytime soap.
The first edition of All My Life was released before ABC announced it was cancelling All My Children and fellow Agnes Nixon creation One Life to Live. However, as Lucci was prompting the book rumours about its future once again re-surfaced but the actress denied ABC were planning to do away with the series – as she had been led to believe. However, not long after the double-whammy shock that ABC was not only cancelling AMC but also OLTL came.
Now the paperback edition of All My Life will feature an extra chapter which covers the news of the cancellation and its aftermath. The chapter will cover how AMC/OLTL creator Agnes Nixon was informed of the decision and Lucci reveals how she was informed and her reaction to the news. The paperback edition is due for release in September.
Fans of AMC are now waiting to see if Lucci will continue to play diva Erica Kane on the soap when it returns, under Prospect Park’s deal with ABC, as an internet based soap.
