ITV 1 9/11 documentary pulls in the viewers
An ITV documentary looking at the stateside atrocity of a decade ago drew ratings to the broadcaster.

The 9/11 documentary which focused on the top government officials who were in office at the time attracted 5.5 million viewers to ITV 1 last night.
9/11: The Day That Changed The World, which pushed the ITV News back to 10.45pm, featured interviews from former American Vice President Dick Cheney and former Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. September 11th 2001 saw the World Trade Center attacked by terrorists who crashed planes into the twin towers, killing thousands of people. A third plane crashed into military control centre, The Pentagon.
The 1hr 45min programme easily beat BBC One’s Torchwood which attracted 3.4 million viewers.
Celebrity Big Brother held up well at 10.00pm with 2.1 million viewers to Channel 5. The highlights show was up against the new series of the Keith Lemon fronted comedy game show Celebrity Juice, on ITV2, which attracted 1.5 million viewers.
