Amanda Holden keen to keep BGT judging role

Amanda Holden is keen to keep her judging role on Britain’s Got Talent after announcing that she is pregnant.

Speaking to The Sun’s TV Biz, Holden said: “I’ve been told my seat is safe but the dates may clash. But we’ll work something out. I’ve been told by all the right people I’m safe on it.” Holden revealed that she was pregnant last month after suffering a miscarriage earlier this year.
Amanda Holden has been on the panel of the ITV 1 talent show since it began in 2007. She remains the only original judge after Piers Morgan quit to focus on his CNN show. Simon Cowell did not take part in the auditions this year to focus on launching The X Factor in America. He did however judge on the live shows.
