ITV confirm cast for Kidnap and Ransom

ITV has confirmed the cast for the second series of the highly rated drama which is due on screen next year.

Trevor Eve, Helen Baxendale, Amara Karen and Natasha Little will return for the second series in 2012 after a successful three part series earlier this year. The first series had an average of 6.0 million viewers for ITV 1. Kidnap and Ransom is produced by Trevor’s production company Projector Pictures, who is working in partnership with Talkback Thames for ITV 1.

Controller of Drama Commissioning for ITV, Sally Haynes said “We were really pleased with how the audience responded to Kidnap and Ransom. Trevor is a fantastic screen actor and really made the character of Dominic King his own. The second series with its plot twists and turns promises to be as unpredictable and absorbing as the first.”
