Ringer performs solidly for The CW

Sarah Michelle Geller’s new television series Ringer debuted solidly for The CW with over 2.5 million viewers.

The role of Geller’s first major television work since the finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer several years ago and has been hotly anticipated. Ringer has been one of the shows, of the new season, which has generated a huge amount of press interest – all good for The CW. The drama was originally pitched to CBS but was, in something of a surprise, picked up by corporate sibling The CW instead. The premier of Ringer was seen by 2.7 million viewers with a 1.2 rating in the all crucial 18 – 49 demo.
