Big Brother ratings stabilise at 1.4 million

Ratings for the 12th series of Big Brother appear to stabilising as the latest episode attracts 1.4 million viewers.

Last night’s figure is similar to previous overnight data for the past week. While the ratings will be seen by some as low in Big Brother terms, for Channel 5 it is providing a much needed boost. Programmes on Channel 5 have previously struggled to attract 1 million viewers or more in the current 10.00pm slot that Big Brother airs in.

Tomorrow is the first eviction of the series which will see either Aaron, Harry or Tashie evicted from the house. Fans of the show can now vote to save a housemate via Facebook alongside traditional phone voting.
