Sky Movies re-launch ‘35mm’

Sky Movies has announced it is re-launching its movie news programme 35mm

The programme returns next Friday with two new hosts. Channel 4’s  Rude Tube presenter Alex Zane will be joined by Robyn Bright, who previously presented Freshly Squeezed also on 4. 35mm will round-up the latest film news, screen exclusive previews and have A-list interviews with the stars.

Speaking about his new role, 35mm presenter Alex Zane said “I’ve had incredible experiences uncovering the inspirations behind some of the greatest careers in Hollywood on Alex Zane’s Guest List and now I’m looking forward to delivering film fans their weekly fix of movie news, previews and interviews, with a spot of trivia to boot.” His co-host Robyn added: “As a huge film fan, I’m delighted present 35mm alongside Alex. Every week, we’ll be going behind the scenes and getting under the skin of the film stars and movie makers everyone knows and loves, asking the questions we know you want answered.”

35mm first began on Sky Movies Premier channel in 2008 and was hosted by Mark Dolan. The re-launched programme will air every Friday at 7.30pm on Sky Movies Showcase HD and repeated on Sky 1 HD on Saturday at 12.00pm.
