ABC looks to 666 Park Avenue

ABC Television in the United States has commissioned a new drama script from the team behind Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries.

The new project is to be based on Gabrielle Pierce’s storybook 666 Park Avenue. The hour long script will tell the story of a couple from Midwest America who move to New York City and become involved with an apartment block in which all the residents have made deals with the Devil to assist with the humans quest to fulfil ambitions, desires and needs.

Alloy Entertainment is to produce the programme, entitled at this stage as simply Park Ave, in association with Warner Brothers Television should a series be commissioned from the inital script idea.

Alloy’ Entertainment has had a successful run of drama production including Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle for the CW channel and also Liars for the ABC Network.
