Ratings drop for Ringer

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s new series Ringer saw a drop in ratings for its second episode.

The CW drama, which also stars Ioan Gruffudd, opened last week with 2.8 million viewers. However, its second episode lost viewers in an all predictable ratings drop – second episodes usually rate lower than premiers as a section of the audience decides the show isn’t for them. Also Ringer had stronger competition last night compared to last week which is also why ratings fell. The second episode had 2 million viewers with a 0.9 18-49 demo.
