The Fades launches strongly for BBC Three
BBC Three’s new supernatural series The Fades launched with over 700,000 viewers last night.
Overnight figures reveal The Fades had a strong launch for BBC Three last night. The supernatural series starring Natalie Dormer and Iain DeCaestacker, had 732,000 viewers at 9pm for BBC Three. Meanwhile Channel Four’s new comedy Fresh Meat, starring Kimberley Nixon and Jack Whitehall, also had a decent launch. The comedy, written by Peep Show scribes Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, had 1.5 million viewers at 10pm with a further 215,000 watching via the time-shift channel. That gives Fresh Meat a combined audience of roughly 1.7 million viewers.
