Glee ratings down for season 3 premier

Glee made its debut on Sky 1 last night, with the opening episode for season three attracting 640,000 viewers.

The first two seasons had previously aired on E4 but the show was poached by Sky 1 earlier this year. The move of Glee has been heavily promoted by Sky 1, with promos running across Sky and non-Sky channels. The first episode of season three attracted 640,000 viewers to Sky 1 at 9.00pm yesterday evening. This was significantly down on E4 ratings, which would regularly post over 1 million an episode. Ratings in America have started to decline although a strong interest in the show remains.
