Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle ratings

Ratings for the second episodes of The Vampire Diaries’ third season and The Secret Circle.

The Vampire Diaries returned last week for its third season with 3 million viewers followed by new supernatural series – and similarly themed – The Secret Circle which retained nearly all of the audience it inherited. Last week though the two supernatural dramas had less competition to contend with so obviously with some many returning – and new – dramas launching this week the ratings would be different.

The Vampire Diaries had 2 million viewers with a 1.2 18-49 rating. The Secret Circle had more viewers overall with 2.5 million viewers but had less in all the all important 18-49 demo with a 0.9 rating.
