J.J Abrams and Eric Kripke developing new drama

NBCJ.J Abrams and Eric Kripke are developing a new drama for NBC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Abrams and Kripke are developing a new epic adventure thriller, currently titled Revolution, for NBC. The broadcaster has ordered a pilot for the new series. J.J Abrams list of credits is long and numerous with the 2009 reboot of Star Trek (a sequel of which is currently in development) and ABC’s Lost just two big hits. Though his spy drama Undercovers failed to take off last year for NBC and was quickly cancelled. Eric Kripke meanwhile is probably best known for his CW series Supernatural. Revolution will be penned by Kripke who will also act as executive producer alongside Abrams and also Bryan Buck.
