RTE’s Crimecall returns with new line up

The eighth series of RTE television’s Crimecall criminal investigative series returns to Irish television this week with a new presenting line up.

 

Series eight of RTE television’s Crimecall criminal investigative series returns to Irish television this week with a new presenting line up.

Grainne Seoige and Philip Boucher Hayes take the helm of the long running RTE One programme.

Crimecall follows a similar format to the BBC’s Crimewatch where each month reconstructions, CCTV footage and live studio appeals for viewers to help provide vital pieces of information in order to assist in solving the crimes featured. Calls to the RTE programme have helped lead to numerous convictions over the previous seven series.

“The programme plays a valuable role in Garda investigations. Crimecall also keeps the public up to date with safety advice and information on crime trends.” RTE say.
