Kerry Katona wants to be Britain's Got Talent Judge

Kerry KatonaCelebrity Big Brother housemate Kerry Katona wants to be a judge on the next series of Britain’s Got Talent.

The search is on to find a replacement for comedian Michael McIntyre who quit the ITV talent contest earlier this month. The future of fellow judge David Hasselhoff also remains in doubt with reports over the summer claiming the former Baywatch and Knight Rider actor wouldn’t be returning to Britain’s Got Talent. So with the hunt for a new judge on Kerry Katona has stated she’d like to fill the vacant roll.

“I think I should be on the judging panel alongside Amanda Holden. Simon Cowell should give me a call! I would be excellent on that show – I’d bring comedy, straight-talking, emotion and there’d be tears, laughter and honesty – what more could you ask for?” –

Last week it was revealed that Katona’s fly-on-the-wall ITV2 series The Next Chapter had been axed by the channel. Katona told Now she was “devastated” by the cancellation and that “Channel 5 should snap it up now!” With the ‘normal‘ Big Brother hardly delivering stellar ratings for Channel Five it seems unlikely they’ll be acquiring anymore reality series’ anytime soon – but never say never.
